This starter has been passed down from several generations from my girlfriend’s family, Kendal Mason. She graciously gifted me this starter at my nesting party/baby shower for my 4th son and I’ve cherished it from that moment forward. It out performs every starter I’ve ever used. It’s rich and tangy. It’s absolute perfection.
Fed with Organic King Arthur All Purpose Flour, filtered water from my Kangen Machine, and stored in glass mason jars.
I have been baking with this starter weekly. It is very active and predictable. Everyloaf I have made with it has turned out PERFECT!
